Waiting on Wednesday: This World We Live In by Susan Beth Pfeffer

This World We Live In by Susan Beth Pfeffer (Published by Harcourt, April 1, 2010)

It's been a year since a meteor collided with the moon, catastrophically altering the earth’s climate. For Miranda Evans life as she knew it no longer exists. Her friends and neighbors are dead, the landscape is frozen, and food is increasingly scarce.
The struggle to survive intensifies when Miranda’s father and stepmother arrive with a baby and three strangers in tow. One of the newcomers is Alex Morales, and as Miranda’s complicated feelings for him turn to love, his plans for his future thwart their relationship. Then a devastating tornado hits the town of Howell, and Miranda makes a decision that will change their lives forever.

I really enjoyed the first two books in this series so I am looking forward to the conclusion. Also I really like the cover, it's both creepy and lovely at the same time if that makes any sense.

The Dead and the Gone still isn't available here. I wish it was because I really liked the first book in the series.

What are the other books in the series?
I noticed on your TBR shelf in the side bar you have forbidden sea, where did you get it.

I loved the first two in this series. I'm so excited that book three brings characters from both together. Great choice.

I'll probably end up reading this, though the first book wasn't my favorite.

The Book Bug - the first two books are Life as We Knew It, and The Dead and the Gone. I think they are both in paperback by now.
